David Powell called the Club meeting to order.  Darrell Scott was the Rotarian of the Day.  Mike Whitson led the invocation and Darrell led the Club in saying the Pledge of Allegiance and the recitation of the 4-Way Test.
 
 
Announcements
  • Board meeting tomorrow at 8 am at Prairie Kitchen.
  • Thank you note received from Erica Gay.
  • Christmas Party is scheduled for December 11th from 6 – 8 pm at the Goddard Center.  We are currently looking for a pianist.
  • Ardmore Soup Kitchen Scheduled for January 27th – 31st, June 29th – July 3rd, and November 30th – December 4TH. We will need volunteers for both shifts. First shift will cook and second shift will serve. We will be partnering with another organization.
  • St. Philip’s Foster Christmas program has kicked off.  Any members interested in adopting a child contact Elizabeth. Children placed in this program are local children in Carter Co. and Love Co. DHS foster care.

Guest Speaker
Guest speakers today was Michelle Sinkler from the Ardmore Institute of Health.  She has been with AIH for 7 years.  She spoke about life style medicine and how it can be used to prevent preventable diseases and ailments.  She also spoke about AIH initiatives in Ardmore.
