Classification Speech
Emmett Hudgins gave a classification speech as a Public School Administrator. Emmett has been member of Rotary since 1977 and this is his first classification speech.  He started with Ardmore City School in 1956 as a 6th grade teacher at Jefferson then he became principal and followed that by being Director of Elementary Education.  He finally became the Deputy Superintendent and stayed in that role for 23 years where he assisted in supervising over 500 employees at 10 locations with 2,500 students for 180 school days each year.  Overall, he was with Ardmore City Schools for 43 years and saw many changes including the desegregation of schools, the implementation of bussing of students with the school district, and the absorption of Mt.
